The Dutch salvage company Blue Tack has been commissioned by the owner of the Curacao flagged deck cargo pontoon 'CC Atlantique', 9119 gt (IMO: 9562245), which has remained stuck on beacon 18, one of the beacons along Flintrännan south of the Öresund Bridge, since March 1 at 4 a.m. The 'Kamarina' with the coupled barge was passing northbound through Flintrännan when the barge came too far to starboard and struck one of the lighthouses. How long it would take to salvage the barge. was unclear. The work continued on March 3, including diving at the grounded barge. Also the tug's winch is said to have been damaged in the incident. The shipping company has therefore sent another tug, the 'Carlo Magno', to the scene which arrived on the early morning of March 2. At the same time, the tug 'Svitzer Edda' has been called to assisted. Shipping was not affected by the incident, even though a navigation warning is in place.

The 'Salvamar Acrux' accompanied a cayuco, which was located seven nautical miles south of La Restinga with 61 sub-Saharan people on board, among them 13 women. They disembarked at 4.30 a.m. local time. At 5.10 a.m., the 'Salvamar Adhara' disembarked the occupants of another cayuco in in La Restinga . The boat had been located 8.7 nautical miles away with 44 sub-Saharan people on board, among them four women and three minors. The responses were coordinated by the CCS Tenerife of Salvamento Maritimo.

The 'Joseph Tezanos' repatriated two migrants to the Dominican Republic on March 1, following a Puerto Rico police interdiction of a suspect vessel with five people on board just off Aguadilla. One of them, having a prior criminal history in the United States, is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Puerto Rico on charges of attempted illegally re-entry into the United States in violation of Title 8, U.S.C., Section 1326 b(2). The interdiction occurred on the early morning of Feb. 28, when two Puerto Rico Police Joint Force of Rapid Action (FURA) marine units sighted a white colored, 20-foot, panga-style vessel, approximately three nautical miles off the Aguadilla coastline. Coast Guard Sector San Juan watchstanders diverted the Coast Guard Cutter to the scene. Shortly thereafter, the 'Joseph Tezanos' arrived on-scene and deployed the cutter’s over-the-horizon small boat and embarked the five migrants; three men who claimed to be Dominican Republic nationals, and a man and a woman who claimed to be Russian nationals. The 'Joseph Tezanos’ transferred the two Dominican Republic nationals to Dominican Republic Navy authorities for repatriation in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on March 1. The crew also transferred the man who was facing federal prosecution to U.S. Border Patrol Ramey Sector agents in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, Saturday. The two Russians were transferred to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations special agents' custody in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on MArch 3 for investigation and removal. On the morning of March 4, 2025, the 1st Port Department of Tzelepi of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus was informed by the Captain of the 'Ekaterini P.' about a mechanical failure, ahead of the ship’s departure from the port on the route to Serifos-Sifnos-Kimolos-Folegandros-Sikinos-Ios-Thira with 195 passengers, 46 private vehicles and 15 trucks on board. The Port Authority banned the ferry from sailing until the damage was repaired and a certificate of class maintenance was presented by the monitoring classification society.
