On its long repositioning journey to Dubai, the "Volcán de Tauce" has been docked in Port Louis since March 28, arriving after its previous stop in Cape Town, where it had sailed on March 18. Without changing its name, the ferry had departed the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Feb 27, where the vessel was handed over to the Emirates International Air Cargo of the United Arab Emirates on Feb 19. The 'Liburna' end her career with the Toremar company on Feb 23, 2025, after 35 years of service between Livorno and the island of Capraia. She is currently undergoing extensive renovations and adaptations for international navigation to prepare her for her new role as part of the Moby fleet in Gestione Bacini's Ercolino II dry dock in the port of Livorno. The ship will enter service on the route between Santa Teresa di Gallura and Bonifacio under the name 'Bunifazziu', the Corsican version of the city's name. The ferry will receive the classic Moby livery, featuring the iconic blue whale and easily recognizable branding.

Prosafe SE, an owner and operator of semi-submersible accommodation vessels, has entered into an agreement through a wholly owned subsidiary to sell the ‘Safe Scandianvia’ for recycling. The vessel has been in cold layup in Norway for over six years. The recycling is set to be completed in full compliance with all relevant conventions and regulations, with delivery expected by Q2 2025. The sale is part of Prosafe’s ongoing fleet optimization strategy, ensuring that the vessel is disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. Prosafe SE is a Norwegian company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange specializing in the ownership and operation of semi-submersible accommodation vessels. The company is involved in providing offshore accommodation solutions to the energy sector, particularly in harsh environments.

Following the recent scrapping of the ferry "Moby Dada," the "Moby Zaza" has also been decommissioned from the Moby Lines fleet. It has been sold to Atlantis Maritime, a company based in the Marshall Islands. Its fate is currently unknown. The ferry had served for the Italian company Moby since Dec 2015, and was chartered by Balearia during the 2022 tender.
