The 'Chios Lion'' was attacked using an unmanned surface vessel and was damaged. No crew members were injured in the incidents.

While originally headed south, the vessel turned around and headed north out of the threat area following the attack. The 'Dongbang Giant No. 6', en route from Kabil to Dampier, was boarded by two perpetrators on Kabil Anchorage in pos. 01° 6.9' 104° N 10.6' E on June 25, 2024, at 3 a.m. The intruders stole engine spare parts. No injuries were reported.
