While sailing in the Arabian Sea about 246 nautical miles southeast of Yemen’s Nishtun., the 'Sarah V', en route from Cristobal to Abu Dhabi, reported an explosion in close proximity to it on June 24, 2024, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO). The crew was reported safe, and the vessel was proceeding to its next port of call. The Red Sea and Gulf of Aden Joint Maritime Information Center (JMIC) later stated that the ship was attacked by a missile, but was not hit. The missile landed in the water approximately 50 meters off the starboard side of the ship. The vessel was likely attacked due to perceived Israeli association.

On June 23, 2024, at 4 a.m. LT the 'Transworld Navigator' while sailing in the lower Red Sea or Gulf of Aden, was attacked by drones or missiles launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen. The ship had departed from Liuheng on May 29 and was en route to Suez, when it was targteted at least four uncrewed aerial systems (UAS). One of these struck the ship and caused minor damage. The vessel continued the voyage and readched the Suez South Anchorage on June 30. The bulk carrier was attacked for the fourth time by the Houthis militants. STOLT SEQUOIA
A missile attack was carried out on the 'Stolt Sequoia', sailing in the Indian Ocean, en route from Manamah to Le Havre on June 23, 2024. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported two incidents at different locations. As per UKMTO, in the early hours of June 23, they received a report of an attack on a vessel 65 nautical miles west of Al Hudaydah. The captain reported that the vessel was stuck by an uncrewed aerial system (UAS), which caused damage. No casualties were reported, and the vessel continued sailing towards its next port call. Later that day the UKMTO reported another incident from a distressed vessel 96 nautical miles southeast of Nishtun. The captain reported flooding in the vessel that grew beyond control, and he ordered the crew to abandon the vessel. The crew evacuated the vessel and were rescued by an another ship, which came to assist. The distressed vessel remained adrift in pos. 14 31 N 053 08 E. The UKMTO confirmed the incident as a SOLAS incident.

On June 18, 2024, between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. the 'Aqva', a "My Princess V-42" yacht. was stolen from the Rostock city port.. The yacht has the official registration number 51892-A on the stern and on both sides of the hull. The hull is white with a railing all around. According to current knowledge, the motor yacht was moored at a regular berth in the Rostock city port. Currently unknown perpetrators reached the berth and sailed the yacht on the Warnow in an as yet unknown direction. Police search measures initiated immediately did not lead to the yacht being found for the time being. The stolen yacht has a value of around 200,000 Euros. The Rostock Water Police Inspectorate has filed a report of theft and is looking for witnesses who can provide information about the theft. OTTOMAN TENACITY
On June 23, 2024, at 9:57 p.m., the 'Ottoman Tenacity', en route from Bettioua to Cadiz, reported that a crew member had fallen overboard at the Banco del Hoyo anchorage, 16 nautical miles from Barbate, on the coast of Cádiz. The SAR helicpopter Helimer 223 and the SAR boat 'Salvamar Enif' were mobilized to search for the man. Later the SAR boat 'Salvamar Suhail' joined the SAR operation. Salvamento Marítimo also issued warnings to ships in the vicinity. The active search has been stopped on June 24.
