The RCC of Salvamento Marítimo Las Palmas has coordinated the rescue of two inflatable boats, with 33 and 49 people on board, about 60 miles from Arrecife, on Sep 27. The 'Guardamar Urania' was mobilized to assist and transferred them to Puerto del Rosario. On the night of Sep 21, 44 migrants were rescued by the crew of the 'Salvamar Macondo' and transferred to Arguineguín on Sep 22 a 12:30 a.m. (Canary Islands time). The 'Salvamar Adhara' accompanied a cayuco to La Restinga, where 133 people disembarked, on Sep 22 after midnight.

On Aug 8, 2024, a canoe was located six nautical miles south of Arguineguín. The CCS Las Palmas of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Macondo', which escorted the boat with 69 sub-Saharan people on board, to the port of Arguineguín.
