67 migrants rescued from two boats

On the morning of Aug 12, a cayuco and and inflatable boat were located south of Arguineguín and east of Lanzarote respectively. The seven migrants in the first case and 60 migrants, amont them two minors, in the second case, were assisted by the 'Salvamar Macondo' and 'Salvamar Al-Nair'. 14 migrants rescued off Maspalomas

A precarious wooden boat was located two nautical miles south of Maspalomas on June 18. The CCS Las Palmas of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Macondo' to assist, which rescues the 14 people on board. Among them were five minors and one woman, all of North African origin. 11 migrants rescued off Maspalomas

The Guardia Civil alerted the CCS of Salvamento Marítimo in Las Palmas after having located a precarious boat about 22 nautucal miles from Maspalomas. The 'alvamar Macondo' was mobilized to relocate the boat, and found it after an intense search. in the face of strong winds, the boat was escorted to a more leeward area where the 11 people on board were rescued and disembarked at the port of Arguineguín.
