36 migrants rescued off Barbate
On Sep 11 a dinghy with 36 peopleon board, among them one woman, was located by a merchant vessel 44 nautical miles southwest of Barbate, The CCS Tarifa was notified and mobilized the 'Salvamar Enif', which rescued the migrants and transferred them to the port of Cádiz. 13 migrants rescued in Strait of Gibraltar
On the earlymorning of Sep 1, the 'Salvamar Enif' has rescued a total of 13 people who were sailing through the Strait of Gibraltar in two inflatable boats. The RCC in Tarifa of Salvamento Marítimo was alerted at 9:00 p.m. by phone. The 'Salvamar Enif' asked the ships that were passing through the area to inform it of any sightings. The crew of a merchant ship informed the rescuers of the coordinates, and initially they picked up six men. Minutes later, the 'Salvarma Enif' was notified by another ship of the sighting of a second boat carrying seven people, four of them minors. The rescue team went to the rescue, and finally disembarked the 13 people in the port of Algeciras.
26 migrants rescued in Banco del Hoyo
