Abandoned fishing vesssel towed to A Coruña
On the early morning of Sep 20, the 'Ray Primero' suffered water ingress with 11 crew members on board 10 nauticla miles off the Galican northwest coast and issued a mayday call. The "Viriato Primero" which had been seized 100 nautical miles off Lorient on Jan 9 with a crew of 12 on board and diverted to the port of Lorient-Keroman, was released on Jan 14. The ship's cargo, consisting of ten tons of hake, was sold at auction for € 39,000. At 5 p.m. the ship sailed, bound to Aviles.
