Ferry suffered technical issue

The 'Ali Cat', serving on the route Gourock.Dunoon, suffered a technical issue that required further investigation on Aug 27. As a conseuqnece, the scheduled departures from Gourock at 11:15 a.m. and from Dunoon at 11:45 p.m. were at risk to be delayed or cancelled at short notice.

More sailings cancelled due to ongoing repair work

The technical issue with the 'Ali Cat', serving on the route Gourock-Dunoon, required further investigations, and a replacement bus service was operated for the cancelled 6:15 p.m. and 7.15 p.m. departures from Gourock and 6:45 p.m. and 7.45 p.m. departures sfrom Dunoon on Aug 27. It turned out that a spare part was required, which was sent on its way to the vessel to be fitted. Due to the ongoing maintenance, on Aug 28 the 11:15 a.m. departure from Gourock and 11:45 am. departure fromg Dunoon have been cancelled. The replacement bus service continued to be operated.

Sailings to be cancelled for maintenance works

The 'Ali Cat', serving on the route Gourock-Dunoon, will have to be removed from service due to essential maintenance works on Aug 1. As a consequence, the following sailings will cancelled: Departure Gourock - 12:15 p.m.; Departure Dunoon - 12:45 p.m. A shuttle bus service will be operated for these sailings instead.
