Sank off Taiwan
Tanker Yong Win 3 sank late Oct 15 13 some 35 nautical miles southwest of Little Liouchiou, an islet off southwestern Taiwan. Tanker developed a heavy list and actually, capsized, reason unknown. Crew rescued. Tanker is loaded with more than 5000 tons of diesel fuel. Coast Guard is on alert for possible oil leaks, none were spotted so far.
