Cargo ship interrupted voyage after medevac

Fri Feb 16 18:02:18 CET 2018 Timsen

The "Hendrik S" interrupted her voyage from Dublin to Amsterdam in the St. George’s Channel and headed for Tenby to medevac the chief engineer with broken fingers in the afternoon of Feb 15, 2018. He was transferred onto Tenby’s RNLI lifeboat, which took him to Tenby, assisted by the chief officer. The ship had to shelter off Barafundle, waiting for the senior officers return, because the master was too tired to provide safe navigation. Both men were transferred back on board after midnight on Feb 16, ad the "Hendrik S" resumed her voyage.
