Bridge allision in Dresden
In the night of Apr 4, 2012, the "Swiss Ruby" allided with the Augustus Bridge which is spanning the Elbe in Dresden. The ship had 58 passengers on board when it scraped one of the bridge archs with its superstructure. The ship proceeded to a berth in Meißen where the accident was investigated. Experts surveyed the damage caused at the bridge with no amount of damage having been estimated yet.
