Medevac off Pylos
The Port Authority of Pylos was informed, in the afternoon hours of May 24, 2023, that an 88-year-old passenger of the 'Vista', which was sailing 23 nautical miles west of Pylos, needed immediate hospital care. The SAR bost 'Santino' was deployed from Pylos and disembarked the woman and took her to the port of Pylos, from where she was transferred by an ambulance first to the Pylos Health Center and then to the General Hospital of Kalamata, while the ship continued on its route.
