Man imprisoned on ferry because of human trafficking and sexual exploitation
Federal police have arrested a passenger of the "Victoria Seaways" during a control in the East Shore Port in Kiel on Sep 11, 2012. The 44-year-old man from Latvia had been sentenced to eight years for human smuggling and sexual exploitation to several years in prison. He had spent a part of the punishment in custody, then the man was deported to Latvia. For the case of a return to Germany an enforcement warrant against him was issued.
