Ferry disabled by broken propeller
The "Venus", 840 gt, running between Svanesund and Kolhättan suffered a broken propeller on May 13, 2013, and had to be repaired in Gothenburg. After the Hönö ferry "Marie" (IMO: 8612055), which was inserted as a replacement went back to Hoenoe the Svanesund was no longer served. Car traffic had to be routed via Tjörnbron. There was no date when the ferry service may take off again. Repairs to the "Venus" were expected to take one week.
