Allision in Hong Kong
The "Universal MK 2014" suffered an engine malfunction and allided with the Waterfront Promenade Pier in Hong Kong on March 26, 2019, at 4 p.m. The vessel lost power after its starboard side main engine failed and the port side water jet malfunctioned. The ferry had 150 passengers on board, no injuries were reported. The bow was slightly damaged, and it needed to undergo repairs.
