Trawler towed to Havneby
On Dec 3, 2024, at 02.55 a.m. the 'Kees Korf' suffered technical problems between Rømø and Sild (Lat. 55.0561 Lng. 8.4708), and could not manoeuvre. The rescue station in Rømø was alerted, and the lifeboat 'FRB 12' got in touch with the beam trawler, which had lost the hydraulics on board, and could therefore not steer. The lifeboat established a tow, and the trawler was towed to Havneby, where it was safely berthed for the necessary repairs at 3.45 a.m. UTC.
