Disabled trawler towed to Mandal
On May 3, 2019, the "Udvaar III" got trawls in its propeller in the Skagerrak and was disabled and adrift. The lifeboat "Kaptain Skaugen" from the NSSR-station Farsund, was called to assist and took the trawler in tow to Mandal. On scene was a stiff breeze and 1.5 meter wave heights. 16 hours after the start of the tow, on May 4 at 9.50 a.m., the ships arrived at Kleven in Mandal where a diver was deployed to remove the trawl net from the propeller. The trawler shifted to Kristiansund at 3 p.m. and sailed again towards the fishing grounds on May 6 at 3.30 p.m. Photos: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D5tnO2TWwAAVpwv.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D5tnO2LXoAAjCJJ.jpg
