Ferry to return before the weekend
After the 'Tysfjord', serving on the route Jektvik–Kilboghamn Route, suffered a main engine failure on June 21, there has been intensive work to find the cause of the problem and to resolve the problem at the quay in Sandnessjøen. If everything goes according to plan, the ferry will return on the A-route before the weekend of June 28/29. If there are changes to the plan, the operator Reis Nordland would provide updated information.
Sailings cancelled and delayed due to technical fault
The 'Tysfjord', serving on the route Jektvik–Kilboghamn, had to cancel the sailings until further notice due to a technical fault on June 22, 2025. Also the following trips from Sørfjorden were cancelled at 12:10 p.m., 2:05 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. An update was to come during the week. The ship berthed in Sandnessjøen for permanent repairs.
Ferry suffered exhaust leak
The Torghatten Nord AS had to withdraw the "Tysfjord" on June 27, 2018, from the Melbu – Fiskebøl service after she suffered an exhaust leak. She was repaired at the dock in Melbu and was expected back on schedule on June 28.
