Steering gear control failure off Baie Comeau

The "Tundra", coming form Kotka, suffered a steering gear control failure off Baie Comeau, Quebec, in position 49 25 02.0 N, 65 03 12.0 W, on April 15, 2019, at midnight. The vessel moored at Les Razades anchorage off Trois-Pistoles for repairs. On April 17 at 3.30 p.m. the ship berthed at Trois Rivières.

Hatch cover damage in Sorel

The "Tundra" suffered damage to the hatch cover of a cargo hold when a piece of the shore grain loading equipment fell onto the vessel, in the port of Sorel in position 46 02 54 N, 73 07 06 W, on Feb 5, 2019, at 4 p.m. Repairs were carried out, and the ship sailed on Feb 16 at 5.30 p.m., bound to Immingham, ETA March 1.

Bulkcarrier refloated

The "Tundra" was refloated in the morning of June 23 with the help of tugs after having pumped out the ballast water tanks. The vessel was transported to the area of the Saint-Zotique anchorage for re-ballasting purposes and then taken to a pier at the lock on the Beauharnois Canal near Melocheville for underwater surveys by divers.
