Grounding off Qinzhou

Coming from Zhanjiang, the "Tian Fu He" ran aground near Qinzhou when it was entering the Port on June 9, 2019. The vessel was deployed for Cosco’s domestic container shipping services and was still stuck on June 12. Operations to refloat the vessel were still ongoing with the "Guang Xishih Huatuo 1", "Hai Wei Gong 887" and "Hai Wei Gong 887" alongside the casualty vessel. The Beibu Gulf Port Group, the operator of Qingzhou Port, has already made plans to dredge the navigation channel.
