Allision on the Danube

On Apr 12, 2018, at 4:55 a.m. the "Thomas Hardy" (EU-No.: 07002048), allided with the Swiss flagged river cruise ship "Viking Bragi" (EU-No.: 07001961) which was berthed at the Ernst-Koref-Promenade on the Danube in Linz, having come from Vienna at 2.10 a.m. The "Thomas Hardy", also having come from Vienna, was sailing river upstream and was about to berth when it was caught by stron wind gusts. The stern was pushed against the river cruise ship. Three windows aboard the "Viking Bragi" were smashed. The "Thomas Hardy" was not damaged. All of the on the whole 350 passengers and 91 crew members of the ships remained uninjured.
