Bulkcarrier boarded by robbers
The "Taurus",while in position 12 17 54 N, 072 01 20 W, at the Puerto Bolivar Anchorage, was approached and boarded by two robbers in a small boat on April 25, 2019, at 03.40 a.m. The alert crew member noticed the robbers, raised the alarm and the crew was mustered. Hearing the alarm and seeing the crew member's alertness, the robbers fled the vessel and escaped in their boat. The Colombian Coast Guard was informed about the incident.
