Ship diverted due to unsafe conditions

On the evening of Sep 21, 2024, the Port Authority of Naxos was informed by the Master of the ‘Talos’ that it is deemed unsafe to approach the port due to adverse weather conditions that prevailed in the area and continued its route to the port of Paros. On the ship, 16 people were waiting to disembark, who were disembarked at the port of Naxos when the ship returned from the port of Paros, while 17 people boarded.

Engine trouble in Saronic Gulf

The vessel was banned from sailing by the port authority until the engine damage was repaired and a certificate of seaworthiness was issued.On March 20 the ferry was underway 12 nautical miles from Sifnos Island again.

Ferry suffered mechanical damage

The Greek Coastguard responded to the "Talos" on Jan 6, 2017, which had suffered a mechanical damage near ​​the island of St. George in the Saronic Gulf. The ferry was en route from Piraeus to Syros, Tinos, Mykonos and Chania with 13 crew members, 12 passengers and fifty vehicles. She returned to port of Pireaeus with own power.
