Tankers allided off Colon
In the morning of Dec 19, 2020, the 'Sunny Bright' suffered an engine problem while mooring at Colon anchorage off the Panama Canal, upon its arrival from Houston. The vessel drifted onto the anchored LPG tanker ''BW Gemini', which had arrived on on Dec 18 from Houston. The stern contacted the starboard foreship of the 'BW Gemini' which then moved to the inner anchorage of Colon and moored in pos. 09° 26.77' W 079° 57.18'. The 'Sunny Bright' anchored in pos. 09° 22.65' N 079° 55.54' W. Both ships remained stationary as of Dec 21.
