Smoke development in engine room
On Dec 12, 2019, at 1.45 p.m. the police was notified of sa moke development on board the 'Suløy' which was on its way from Hareid to Sulesund. The ferry returned to Hareid at 1.51 p.m. where passengers and cars were safely disembarked. The fire department attended the scene and found out that an oil leak was the cause of the smoke development. There has been no open fire.
