Engine malfunction off Dardanelles
En route from Alexandria, Egypt, to Gemlik, the 'Suave' suffered an engine malfunctio in the early morning of April 3, 2023, at the southern entrance of the Dardanelles. Under the coordination of the Çanakkale VTH Center and assisted by the tug 'Kurtarma 16', it was towed to Kanranlik Liman anchorage and safely moored in pos. 40° 01.64' N 026° 18.14' at around 4 a.m. UTC.
