Bulkcarrier boarded by perpetrators
The Strategic Unity", moored in position 003 56 48N, 98 48 42E, at the Belawan anchorage, was boarded by two robbers on July 30, 2019, at 11.20 p.m. Subsequently, the alarm was raised, and the crew mustered. Seeing the crew's alertness, the robbers fled the vessel and escaped empty handed. The incident was reported to Belawan Port Control.
