Scorpio Tankers announces newbuilding vessel deliveries
Scorpio Tankers Inc. has recently taken delivery of two newbuilding vessels, the company said in its press release. The Company recently took delivery of the following vessels: STI Oxford, an LR2 product tanker, was delivered from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. ("HSHI"). Upon delivery, this vessel began a voyage for 50 days at approximately $41,000 per day. STI Queens, an MR product tanker, was delivered from SPP Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. of South Korea ("SPP"). Upon delivery, this vessel began a time charter for up to 120 days at approximately $18,000 per day.
