Medevac in Corfu

The Corfu Port Authority was informed in the morning of March 25, 2022, by the naval agent of the 'Stavros' that a 73-year-old local passenger of the ship needed to be transported to hospital due to illness. She sailed to the port of Corfu, where the patient was picked up by an ambulance and transported to the General Hospital of Corfu, for medical treatment.

Passenger ferry suffered damage to pipe

In the morning of Feb 28, 2022, the Corfu Port Authority was informed by the captain of the 'Stavros' that the ship could not start its scheduled route from the port of Corfu to the port of Albania due to a damage to the rudder oil pressure pipe. Immediate executives of the Local Boat Inspection of the port of Corfu went on board and banned the ship from sailing until the repair of the damage and the presentation of a certificate of seaworthiness by the monitoring classification society. The ship finally sailed on March 1 at 8.10 a.m. and arrived in Sarande at 8.40 a.m.
