Freighter in collision with oil barge
The "Stavr", sailing in ballast, collided with the anchored, unlit oil barge "Omul", also in ballast, in the Kerch Strait, on Oct 12, 2018, at 01.05a.m. She lost the starboard anchor, while the barge sustained a dent and breach at the starboard side. She was unmanned and sealed for towage to Turkey. The "Stavr" was brought to anchor to be inspected during daytime on Oct 12.
