Engine failure off Klaipeda
The "Spiegelgracht" suffered a failure of the main engine upon departure from the port of Klaipeda to Rauma on Oct 14, 2017, and almost grounded on the shore of the Curonian Spit. The ship was stopped by dropping anchor in the waters of the Curonian Lagoon before receiving tug assistance.
