Inconsistency of main engine remote control
The crew of the "Cape Dawson" observed an inconsistency in the main engine remote control operations during a pre-arrival test at Montreal on June 6, 2018, but the back up system was fully operational. The decision was taken to stop the vessel and to finalize system-checks to full Class satisfaction. This was not an emergency situation, but part of normal routine.
