Medevac off Als

Sat Jun 11 18:23:25 CEST 2016 Timsen

On June 10, 2016, at 8.35 p.m. the MRCC of the DGzRS in Bremen was notfied by the "Seute Deern" after a 45 year old crew member broke his arm during a manoever. Also a 15 year old girl of a school class from Hamburg was suspected to have suffered a fracture. The lifeboat "Nis Rander" went alongside three miles south of Als island. Two crew members were transferred aboard and the two injured were cared for, before they were taken to Maasholm aboard the lifeboat for further medical treatment. The "Seute Deern" continued the voyage to Flensburg.
