Engine faulure off Linoperamata

The 'Seaven Joy', en route from Linoperamata to Piraeus, suffered an engine failure and lost power in position 35 31 30.0 N, 024 58 30.0 E, off Linoperamata, on April 4, 2022. The tug 'Mentoras' (IMO: 9061722) was called to assist the vessel. Towing commenced on April 5 with an ETA at Piraeus as of Apr 7. At 4.30 a.m. the ship moored on Piraeus anchorage.

Tanker disabled in Aegean Sea

The 'Seaven Joy' with 15 crew members on board suffered an engine failure south of the Kafirea Strait in the early morning of May 8, 2020, while en route from Piraeus in eastern direction. The tanker was disabled and adrift. It was taken in tow by the tug 'Apollon' in the morning of May 8 and pulled to the Lavrion anchorage, where she moored in pos. 37° 57.90' N 024° 27.02' E for repairs after which it resumed its voyage to Alexandroupolis with an ETA as of May 10.
