Disabled trawler bumped against sand bar
On May 7, 2013, at 2 p.m. the "Drie Gebroeders - SCH 10" notified the Dutch Coastguard of rudder problems. The net had fouled the propeller so that the ship bumped against a sandbar. The KNRM stations Katwijk and Scheveningen sent the lifeboats "De Redder" and Kitty Roosmale Nepveu". It was decided to pull the disabled ship to Scheveningen where the tug "Oceaan" came alongside and moored it in the 1st harbour basin where diver were sent down for a survey of the rudder and propeller.
