Disabled tanker towed to Rotterdam

The 'Coastalwater' suffered main engine problems enroute from Immingham to Rotterdam in pos. 53 30 36 N 004 50 24 E on Oct 5, 2019, at 2.30 a.m. After drifting for a few hours, it dropped anchor in position 53 31 12 N, long 004 42 18 E. The casualty was taken in tow by the tug 'Hunter' towards Rotterdam at 9 a.m. and berthed at the VOPAK chemical port on Oct 6 at 3.20 p.m. It sailed again on Oct 18 at 7.10 p.m. and headed back to Immingham where it arrived on Oct 19 at 11.45 p.m.

Tanker damaged in storm Angus

On Nov 21 the Dover MRCC reported to the CROSS Gris-Nez that the "Coastalwater" had suffered damage in the storm Angus raging with 50 knots wind speed in gusts about 3,5 nautical miles from the English coast and which also required the assistance of the "Abeille Languedoc". The tanker berthed in Dover at 4.10 a.m. the same day.
