Fishing vessel towed to Cala Ratjada

On Feb 6, 2025, the Spanish flagged fishing vessel 'Es Virot', with three crew members on board, suffered a mechanical breakdown eight nautical miles east of Cala Ratjada (Mallorca). The CCS Palma of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Saiph' to assist, which took the ship in tow and safely pulled it to Cala Ratjada.

Yacht towed to Alcudia

On Dec 11, the sailing yacht 'Nereida' suffered a mechanical failure 150 meters from the Port of Alcudia. It dropped anchored in an emergency manoever and requestd towing assistance. The CCS Palma of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Saiph' at the request of the Port Authority of Alcudia. It took the boat in tow and safely pulled it to the port. Motor boat towed to Pollença

On Aug 20 the motorboat 'Miracles' with one crew member on board requested assistance after it went adrift due to rudder problems near Cala Gossalba in the Bay of Pollença. The CCS Palma of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Saiph' to assist, which took the boat in tow and safely pulled it to the port of Pollença.
