Yacht assisted in Barcelona
On June 8 the sailboat 'Aristote' issued the emergency notice PAN PAN. It had suffered a leak which was located in the propeller shaft while sailing within the port of Barcelona with three crew members on board. The CCS Barcelona of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the Civil Guard and the 'Salvamar Mintaka', which towed it to the Real Club Náutico.
Yacht towed to Barcelona
The sailboat 'Pilona' suffered a breakdown on the afternoon of May 29, 2024, about three nautical miles from Masnou. The 'Salvamar Mintaka' was mobilized by the RCC of Salvamento Marítimo in Barcelona. It took the yacht in tow and safely pulled it to the port of Barcelona. Four crew members from grounded yacht rescued
In the night before of April 9, 2024, the sailing yacht 'Amaretto' with four crew members on board ran aground in El Masnou. The CCS of Salvemento Marítimo in Barcelona mobilized the 'Salvamar Mintaka' to assist. It rescued the castaaways from the Sun Odyssey 43 yacht, which was hard aground on the rocks with a list to port side, and took them safely to the port of Barcelona.
