On the morning of March 7, 2025, The crew of the 'Salvamar Lyra' assisted a disabled fishing vessel, with four crew members on board, near Roses, between the Roses Lighthouse and Canyelles Petites. The gear had got hooked on the propeller. The ship was taken in tow and safely docked in the port of Roses to remove the obstruction from the fouled propulsion. The sailing yacht 'Flying Black Pearl', with one crew member on board, issued a distress call 23 nautical miles southeast of Roses on Feb 3, 2025. The ship was disabled without rudder and with other damages. The CCS Barcelona of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Lyra' to assist, which took the boat in tow and safely pulled it to Roses. The Spanish flagged fishing vessel "Gravina Segunda', with two crew members on board, suffered and engine failure and requested assistance three nautical miles southeast of Cadaqués on Oct 15. The CCS Barcelona of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Lyra', which took the vessel in tow and safely pulled it to the port of Roses.
