Disabled motor boat towed to Tarragona

On Sep 26, the motor boat 'Glorieta' with one person on board was disabled and adrift 400 meters from the buoys of the Llarga beach in Tarragona. The skipper was indicating that he did not know how to anchor. The CCS Tarragona of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Fomalhaut', which took the boat in tow and safely pulled it to the waiting dock of the marina.

Motor boat towed to Comarruga

On June 5, 2024, the motor boat 'Mar i Cel' suffered an engine failure in front of Tamarit with two crew members on board and requested a tow. The CCS Tarragona of Salvamento Marítrimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Fomalhaut' to assist, which pulled it to Comarruga, where it was safely moored. Fishing vessel towed to Tarragona

The fishing vessel 'El Meu Avi' with two crew members on board reportsed a mechanical breakdown near the port of Salou on April 12, 2024. The CCS Tarragona of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Fomalhaut', which towed the vessel to Tarragona and recoverd the net, which could have been dangerous for navigation.
