Assistance to motor boat with anchor problems

20 migrants rescued off Cabo de la Nao

A recreational boat spotted a small boat 34 nautical miles southeast of Cabo de la Nao on June 18 and notfified the CCS Valencia of Salvamento Marítimo, which mobilized the 'Salvamar Fénix'. The SAR boat rescued the 20 people on board, among them 15 men, one woman and fir minors, one of whom required medical assistance. The migrants were taken to Alicante, where they were treated by shore based medical teams.

Sailboat towed to Jávea

On the night of May 20, 2025, The sailboat 'Arya Tara' ran aground in Cala Sardinera, Jávea, with two crew members on board. The 'Salvamar Fénix' was mobilized by the CCS Valencia of Salvamento Marítimo and refloated the boat. It was safely towed to the port of Jávea. A patrol boat of the Guardia Civil transported one crew member to shore, while the skipper remained on board for the operation.
