30 migrants rescued off Cartagena

The Salvamar Draco rescued the 30 North African occupants, among them one woman and two minors, of a rubber dinghy located 39 nautical miles from Cartagena on the early morning of July 4. They have been taken to the port. The GNV fery 'rCristal' had raised the alert. The response was coordinated by tthe CS Cartagena of Salvamento Marítimo.

On the morning of July 4, the 'Salvamar Draco' rescued the 30 North African occupants, among them one woman and two minors, from a rubber dinghy which had been located 39 nautical miles off Cartagena by the ferry 'GNV Cristal', which alerted Sakvamento Marítimo. The migrants were taken to the port.. The response was coordinated by the CCS Cartagena.

Fishing vessel towed to Cartagena

On the early morning of Feb 3, 2025, the fishing vessel 'La Margarita' encoutnered engine problems. The gearbox had broken down because the net had been caught in the propeller. The ship was disabled and adrift 1.7 nautical miles from the Portus beach. The 'Salvamar Draco' was deployed to assists the vessel. It was taken in tow and safely pulled to Cartagena.
