Fishing vessel towed to Santoña

On May 6, the 'Salvamar Deneb' assisted a fishing vessel that was disabled and adrift 5.5 nautical miles north of Punta del Pescador. Its net had become entangled in the propeller. There weare 10 people on board. The fishing vessel notified the CCS Santander of Salvamento Marítimo via VHF CH16. The vessel was taken in tow to Santoña. Fishing vessel towed to Santander

The fishing vessel 'Mus' with two crew members on board suffered a broken clutch 1,5 nautical miles north of the Virgen del Mar and requested towing assistane on Sep 25. The CCS Santander of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Deneb', which took the vessel in tow and safely pulled it to the port of Santander.

Fishing boat adrift near Punta Rebollera

On April 15 at 9:00 p.m. the CCS Santander of Salvamento Marítimo was notified about a fishing boat with 16 people on board near Punta Rebollera (San Vicente de la Barquera) with engine problems.
