Cayuco with 41 migrants escorted to Los Cristianos
On April 11, the 'Salvamar Alpheratz' escorted a cayuco with 41 occupants, among them five women and one minor, that was located three nautical miles south of Las Galletas, to the port of Los Cristianos. The alert was given by the Guardia Civil at 8:10 a.m. local time. The response was coordinated by the CCS of Salvamento Maritimo in Tenerife. 68 migrants assisted southeast of Punta Rasc
On April 4, the 'Salvamar Alpheratz' accompanied 68 sub-Saharan Africans, among them four women and one minor, from a rickety boat located 5.1 nautical southeast of Punta Rasca (Tenerife) to the Port of Los Cristianos. On Feb 22 an excursion catamaran sighted a cayuco 3.4 nautical miles east of Puerto Colón, Tenerife. The CCS of Salvamento Marítimo in Tenerife mobilized the 'Salvamar Alpheratz', which escorted the boatit to Los Cristianos, where the 16 migrants on board disembarked in good condition.
