Tanker stood by migrant boat

On May 12 the "Sea-Eye 4" rescued another 24 migrants in the Maltese SAR zone. The 'Ross Sea', en route from Sidi Kerir to Cherbourg, had only been advised to monitor the boat following its distress call. In the night the NGO ship arrived and rescued the migrants who had set sail on May 8 in Benghazi. They were originating from Egypt, Eritrea, Libya, Sudan, Syria und the Chad. After the "Sea-Eye 4" akready rescued 34 migrants on May 7, it has on board 58 boat people now.
