Man died after falling over board

A 54-year-old man from Bømlo well from the "Øysund" on Nov 16, 2017, at 7.19 a.m. The rescue center received a Mayday message from the Bømlo Brønnbåtservice (Sølvtrans AS), after the man was lost over board in the Boknafjord. After 20 minutes the man was found by the crew on the wellboat, and he was then transferred to the Haukeland University Hospital by helicopter in a critical condition. On Nov 16 at 10 a.m. the Haukeland University Hospital said the man was dead.
