Detention in Karadeniz Ereğli

The "Rodion Oslyabya" was detained on July 9, 2025 in Karadeniz Ereğli with 12 deficiencies , nine of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Certificate & Doc - Minimum hours of rest Not as required 2) Certificate & Doc - Thickness measurement report Not as required 3) Safety of navigation - Navigation records Not as required 4) Safety of navigation - Nautical publications Not updated 5) Pollution Prevention - Other (Marpol Annex IV) Other 6) Emergency systems - Fire drills Lack of training 7) Structural conditions - Beams, frames, floors-corrosion Corroded 8)) Living and working - Obstructions/slipping etc Not as required 9) Living and working - Galley, handlingroom (Maintenance) Not as required The vessel was released again on July and left the port enroute to Azov, Russia. The last detention was only on Dec 23, 2024, in Trabzon with six deficiencies for three days.
