Allision in Brunsbüttel
On Sep 27, 2018, at 125 a.m. the "Rocamar",, enroute from Antwerp to Inkoo, allided with a piling at jetty II in the old foreport of the Kiel Canal locks in Brunsbüttel. The accident was caused by a steering mistake upon entering the small northern lock. The ship suffered scratches at the foreship. At 3.15 a.m. it was allowed to transit the waterway eastbound and berthed at the Voith Quay in Kiel at 9 a.m. for an inspection and class certification. The vessel continued the voyage at 4.45 p.m.
