Medevac in Heraklion

On the evening of June 2, 2024, the Central Port Authority of Heraklion was informed by the Master of the 'Prevelis' that a 61-year-old passenger felt unwell and after being examined by a doctor on board it was decided that she needed hospital care for preventive reasons. The ship was on a schgeduled route from Rhodes to Piraeus with the intermediate ports of Chalki - Diafani - Pigadion - Kasos - Sitia - Heraklion - Anafi - Thira. In the port of Heraklion, the woman was picked up by an ambulance and transferred to the Regional University General Hospital of Heraklion. The ship then departed to carry out its scheduled itinerary.

Anchor winch damage in Tzelepi

In the afternoon of May 27, 2024, the Port Authority of Tzelepi was informed by the Master of the 'Prevelis' that before the ship's departure a malfunction occurred in the port sie anchor winch. The ship had a scheduled route from the port of Piraeus to the ports of Thira, Anafis, Kasos, Karpathos, Diaphanio, Halkis and Rhodes, with 117 passengers and vehicles on board. The Central Port Authority of Piraeus initially banned the ship from sailing. Upon the presentation of a certificate of class maintenance from the monitoring classification society it was allowed to continue sailing.

Allision in Pigadion

On March 5, 2023, at midday the Port Authority of Karpathos was informed about an allision of the 'Prevelis' with the pier of Pigadion, Karpathos Prefecture. The ferry safely docked at the port of Pigadio, Karpathos, with 150 passengers, where during an inspection by a team of the relevant Port Authority, a cavity was found without the existence of a crack at the port side stern of the ship. The Port Authority initially banned the ferry from sailing. Upon the presentation of a certificate of seaworthiness and maintenance of class from the monitoring classification society, the vessel was allowed to sail to the ports of Kasos, Siteia, Heraklion, Anafi and Santorini, with 114 passengers on board with the final destination Piraeus.
