Grounding on the Don
The "Pindushi", after loading a cargo of 2,826 tons of barley at Rostov-on-Don, veered off the fairway and ran aground on the Don at river kilometer 3075,9 on June 28, 2018, at 6.10 a.m. The accident was caused by a navigational error. The vessel was refloated with the assistance of the tug "OT-1516" at 5 p.m. and continued its transit. The ship was bound to Poti, ETA July 3, 2 p.m.
Grounding on the Volga
The "Pindushi" ran aground in the early morning of March 11, 2015, at kilometer mark 3053 on the Volga while preparing to drop anchor. The vessel was loaded with 2800 tons of barley, no damages were reported and the salvage under way. The ship was en route from Astrakhan to Bandar Anzali.
